Salary: £25, 500 -£28, 000 per annum + generous benefits package and bonus
Based Hampton TW12 area

Full time permanent role – Monday – Friday 8.30am  – 5.00pm 

Study Package  – Study assistance can be provided to gain CIPD qualification (after successful completion of assessment period)

Key Responsibilities

In conjunction with the HR Manager:

  • Co-ordinate recruitment, including liaising with recruitment agencies and updating the HR system
  • To carry out interviews ensuring the Recruitment Policy is adhered to
  • To manage the new starter process including Contact Pack preparation, background screening, preparing induction folders
  • Develop, co-ordinate, monitor and evaluate staff induction
  • Coordinate and mange student work experience programmes across all sites including liaising with appropriate educational body, creation of work experience itinerary, induction of student
  • To process monthly payroll, include liaising with the payroll bureau regarding all payroll adjustments and queries. Ensuring payroll adjustments are accurately reflected in the HR system
  • Respond to queries and provide advice and guidance to employees and managers relating to reward, including remuneration, employee benefits and payroll
  • To produce all staff correspondence including amendments to contracts and benefits confirmation letters
  • Maintain and update employee records
  • Ensure HR policies are implemented fairy and consistently
  • Provide advice and guidance to managers to support them with any issues such as poor performance, flexible working requests etc
  • Manage all long-term absence.
  • Undertake the leaver process including arranging leaver surveys and distribution of results
  • Arrange employee s training and ensuring HR system records are updated in a timely manner
  • Support and contribute to the planning and implantation of the HR strategy and policy
  • Assist in the development of allocated policies, procedures, guidance and other documents
  • Manage additions and amendments of all HR policies, procedures and forms

Person Specification

  • Previous experience in HR
  • Ability to use HR information systems
  • Able to demonstrate effectiveness in contributing to a small team
  • Ability to effectively communicate
  • Be patient, tactful, diplomatic, and approachable
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to produce accurate work under tight deadlines and pressure
  • IT Savvy, able to use Microsoft Office
  •  Driving licence is desirable.
