Finance Administrator – full time permanent position
Salary £24.500k
Based in the Chessington area

We are recruiting for an accounts administrator who will play a key role is supporting my client’s Finance team. Your work will involve basic office and accounting functions, as well as general administrative tasks. My client is a highly successful and well-established organisation based in the Chessington area.

Key responsibilities

  • Accurately entering goods received at outside warehouses onto the accounting system.
  • Daily investigation and clearing of goods booked in via the warehouse but with anomalies.
  • Setting up new products and their components on the finance system.
  • Post invoices onto the accounting system.
  • Dealing with Queries and other ad-hoc work
  • Distribution of internal documentation and opening, date stamping and distributing post to relevant members of staff.
  • To print off all invoices sent to our departmental email address and distributed for processing, and to forward any emails (other than invoices) to the relevant member of staff.
  • Email remittance advices to suppliers that have been paid manually.
  • Filing of processed supplier invoices, daily delivery notes and new supplier setups.
  • Entering suppliers’ invoices onto our diary log system, scanning copies of the invoices, and entering invoice data.

Person specification

  • Basic Office Administrator experience preferred
  • Experience with MS Excel (Foundation level)
  • Minimum 5 GSCEs 9-4 (A*-C) – or equivalent
  • Good communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Quick learner with initiative
