The National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage increases April 2022

From April 2022, the National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage are increasing;

Workers aged 23 or over – up from £8.91 to £9.50 an hour

Workers aged 21 to 23 – up from £8.36 to £9.18 an hour

Workers aged 18 – 20 – up from £6.56 to £6.83 an hour

Workers 16 to 17  – up from £4.62 to £4.81 an hour

Apprentices – up from £4.30 to £4.81

 

Predicted  NI contribution change

1.25% increase on National Insurance rates – a Health and Social Care Levy

Dividend tax will also be increased by 1.25%
