Based in South West London. Salary: £DOE

We are currently recruiting for a Travel Coordinator to work for a global company based in the South West London area. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a keen interest is the travel industry and is highly organised.

As the Travel Coordinator you will lead on travel bookings (book transport and hotels), manage and process all travel arrangements that arrives into the travel email inbox. You will record all travel, complying with the Travel Policy, and create a weekly travel report. As the Travel Coordinator, you will also handle cancellations and amendments in a timely manner. You will compare invoices with travel transactions to validate every charge, and will ensure all invoices are paid in a timely manner.

 Person Specification:

  • Previous experience within the travel industry for corporate global companies, or experience in booking travel in a professional set up
  • Strong MS Office skills including Excel and Outlook.
  • Significant experience of travel management
  • Positive attitude and commitment to ensuring travel arrangements run smoothly
  • Degree in Business or related subject
  • Other office management experience
  • Knowledge of geography and travel destinations
  • Customer focused
  • Good judgement and initiative
  • Communications and personal effectiveness

Key Responsibilities: –  

  • Book travel for incoming, using cost conscious solutions
  • Audit travel requests, ensuring compliance to the worldwide travel policy, and highlight any ethics issues associated with travel
  • Contribute to the cost control of business travel for the business
  • Maintenance of records for internal audit, and Health and Safety audits as requested
  • Provide feedback to management of potential critical issues
  • Review travel across European sites and pick up the travel management co-ordination, either directly or indirectly
  • Carry out any other Travel related activities
  • Provide the business with administrative support as required
  • Be aware of and comply with Company Standards of Conduct and all relevant statutory requirements
  • Carry out any other reasonable management request
