Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Coordinator (SHEQ)  6mth contract 

This role will provide vital support in the business by helping maintain compliance with relevant QEHS certifications and accreditation as well as helping day to day with tactical issues and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, implement, and maintain Quality and EHS management system processes, documentation, policies or procedures
  • Oversee and manage calibration of vital test and operational equipment, and Stamp control.
  • Collate accurate records regarding QEHS metrics, across the business
  • Assist with the investigation of Quality and EHS non-compliance.
  • Provide non- conformance root-cause corrective action support services to units within the business.
  • Monitor and assist with the control of product quality & service compliance requirements,
  • Develop procedural systems to ensure that the company maintains compliance with the applicable specifications.
  • Assistance with internal auditing

Person Specification:

  • A natural coordinator who is passionate about compliance and processes to achieve stringent QEHS control and adherence to standards.
  • Proven SHEQ knowledge and background working within a Quality standard/framework –
  • Good general knowledge of quality & environmental systems
  • good knowledge of health & safety legislation and Approved Codes of Practice (ACoP)
  • Understanding of British Standards and certification/accrediting bodies would be advantageous
  • Previous experience of supporting internal audits would be advantageous
  • IT Savvy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Lives within an easily commutable distance of the Kingston upon Thames area
