Purchasing Coordinator- opportunity to work with a unique brand!
Full time, permanent office-based role – 37.5 hours per week
We are currently recruiting for a Purchasing Coordinator on behalf of our client, a well- established and highly successful organisation based in the Chessington area. The purpose of this role is to provide procurement support to the business as they strive to deliver top quality products to their customers with excellent service
The role will be a good opportunity to further develop existing skills in communication, streamlining processes and keeping track of multiple ongoing projects.
Acting as the key liaison between the Product team, the Warehouse and Customer Services department to ensure deliveries can be booked in promptly and customers are informed of any changes to their orders
Purchase order preparation and product set-up
Vendor correspondence (with vendors within the UK and International
Using Excel to keep track of production schedules
Vendor correspondence (with vendors within the UK and International)
Maintaining delivery trackers
Accurately entering goods received at outside warehouses onto the finance system.
Daily investigation and clearing of goods booked in via the warehouse and anomaly resolution.
System set up of new products and their components.
Freight invoice processing and posting onto the finance system.
Administration of Purchase Orders on the finance system.
New supplier set-up
Support for the ordering, receipt, and processing of personalised products
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A high level of competence using MS Office systems – particularly Excel
Accuracy with strong attention to detail
Experience of working across multiple departments
Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.
Excellent organisational skills
