This position would suit a candidate with either property management experience or excellent administration skills with the ability to multi-task and learn quickly. The role is dealing with 80-85% property management and 15% lettings. The position is highly administrative where you follow processes. Accuracy is essential.
Property Management essentially will involve day to day checking of emails, attention to detail is paramount. organising maintenance and repairs. Organising Gas Safety Certificates, Electrical Inspections, Energy Performance Certificates, organising and carrying out property inspections.
The lettings side of the business will involve arranging viewings with potential tenants and coordinating offers etc
Training will be given to explain how the in house system works and assistance where required. The client does not use a property management system so everything is time dated and record on property pages. The most important aspect is communication between the Tenant and Landlord liaising on repairs, maintenance etc. Tenancy renewals, carry out credit checks and raise pre tenancy documentation.
For someone with experience, good knowledge of legislation is essential.
Car driver essential.
Hours 9-6 Monday to Friday – Saturdays 9-3. Half day in lieu on either a Tuesday or Wednesday the week a Saturday is worked.
