Based in Thames Ditton
Full time, permanent, office based role
Salary £24,000 – £26,000 per annum

Person specification

• Basic understanding of networking
• Cisco switching and router experience
• Supporting MS Windows 10
• Experience of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policies, DNS, DHCP
• Installation and management of Windows server
• Storage (NAS/iSCSI/RAID)
• Experience of managing/working with an IT helpdesk
• Able to work alone and within a team
• Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills
• Full driving licence

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for provision of first and second line technical support
• Support the Network & Systems Manager and external suppliers (where applicable) with infrastructure upgrades, maintenance and renewals
• Undertake end-user computing device builds including – hardware & software support, installation, configuration, and deployment of laptops, desktops, tablets & smartphones
• Taking Scheduled backups, and logging details
• Printer management, toners stock maintenance and ordering from the supplier
• General network support and maintenance, cabling and patching
• Use of software to manage, monitor and respond proactively to incidents
• Ensuring internal customers are kept informed, regarding on-going tickets and e-communications is used at all times
• Running training sessions and workshops on systems processes
• Achieving agreed and contracted SLA’s
• Work with 3^rd parties to support the resolution of network & systems problems
