Based in Twickenham
Salary: £21K  plus £40K OTE
Permanent Full-time office-based role

Early/middle/late shifts   – 8:30-5:00/9-6/10-7 – 5 days per week

1 in 3 Saturdays  – 9am-3pm

Full time office-based role, no hybrid working.

We are currently recruiting for a highly successful and expanding organisation based in Twickenham. Our client is looking for a confident sales agent to join their team.

• Reporting to Operations and Customer Experience Manager
• Strong can-do sales mentality and be comfortable in a high-pressure sales environment.
• Working to deadlines you will also be required to liaise with the internal underwriters and to provide the best quote to their customers

Role and responsibilities

• Telephone based sales position
• Inbound calls from customers looking to buy motor insurance
• Outbound calls on warm leads
• You must be able to close sales to generate and maximise revenue while providing a high quality, positive sales experience to prospective customers
• You will conduct in-depth fact finds to uncover material facts, offering the most appropriate products in a compliant fashion
• Objection handling key to this role and the ability to persuade and influence customers decisions whilst avoiding pressure selling
• To meet and exceed realistic sales goals Exceptional candidates may be required to build their own team in the coming 12 – 18 months

Skills and experience

• A confident communicator with a fantastic telephone manner
• Inbound or outbound sales and customer services skills are desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Proficient in Word and Excel
• Previous knowledge of the motor insurance industry and /or FCA regulations are beneficial but not essential
• A great team player who thrives in a buzzy environment
