Management Accountant
Based in SW London
Salary: £39,000 per annum +paid study support package
Full time permanent hybrid role – 3 days in the office

 

We are currently recruiting a Part Qualified Management Accountant for a global organisation based in SW London The purpose of the role is managing the full process of creating the monthly management accounts for the company. Assisting the Finance Manager in preparation of the quarterly CAS submissions and forecasts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of the management accounts (MPS)
  • Preparation and presentation of the monthly management pack to the finance team.
  • Preparation and submission of the monthly cashflows
  • Preparation of the balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparation and submission of quarterly accounts (CAS)
  • Assisting the Finance Manager with preparation of the quarterly OPEX forecasts and cashflow forecasts.
  • Other monthly reporting including investment by regions and travel reporting.
  • Review of POs raised
  • Review of VAT return
  • Completing a bi-annual internal audit of the AP function
  • Assisting the Finance Manager with the annual audit requests.
  • Liaising with staff to ensure all costs and revenue are known to Finance and reported in the correct months.
  • Responsible for ensuring all monthly, quarterly and annual reporting deadlines are met and that the output is of the high standard
  • Maintain a professional and dedicated approach to duties at all times and adhere to corporate standards for behaviour and loyalty to the objectives and goals of the company.
  • Supporting commercial finance team on ad-hoc basis.
  • Any reasonable ad-hoc or routine request.

Person Specification

  • Part qualified accountant
  • Previous experience preparing management packs and presenting the results to stakeholders
  • Exposure of working with senior members of a business
  • A highly organised individual who is competent at multi-tasking and prioritising
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills
  • Excellent time management and self-organisational skills with an ability to multi-task and work to deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal
  • High degree of integrity and confidentiality
  • High standards of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in both a team environment and unsupervised with a degree of flexibility towards working hours and tasks assigned
  • Proactive, positive attitude to work, able to use initiative and act with independence and integrity
