Key Account Manager

Based in Surrey. Salary: £60,000 per annum including commission + Fantastic benefits

We are currently recruiting for a Key Account Manager to work for a leading brand in Surrey. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is dynamic, highly motivated and has a keen interest in Science.

 Person Specification:

  • Proactive person who is highly motivated by achieving targets and delivering results
  • Outgoing & confident individual who demonstrates a high level of effective verbal & written communication
  • Able to plan, organise & prioritise workload effectively and work autonomously
  • A team player who is able to work effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Able to influence and engage effectively at all levels of the business
  • A fast learner who is able to quickly understand & interpret new concepts and ideas
  • Able to mentor and lead effectively through providing clear
  • Degree in Biosciences or STEM discipline essential
  • Awareness of the UK science capital equipment market
  • Proven ability to deliver sales targets and to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience using CRM systems is desirable
  • General interest in science and an interest in microscopy

Key Responsibilities: –  

  • Delivery of net sales budgets and targets, ensuring all appropriate actions are taken in order to maximise sales performance
  • Create, deliver and execute territory and customer sales strategies, frequently reviewing and updating action plans
  • Build, develop and maintain long-term relationships with customer base, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of solutions to customers’ needs
  • Ensure that all customer issues are resolved promptly through effective, timely internal communication
