Hybrid role – remote working / office based ( office based in Kingston upon Thames)
We are seeking an Junior Account Executive seeking an entry level role within a tech PR agency.
Previous relevant experience in PR /Marketing or Media via a placement year, internship, part time, temporary or seasonal work would be desirable but not essential.
You will play a “hands-on role” across all of his/her client accounts and nurture direct relationships with client contacts. Excellent training opportunities are provided and the agency will actively encourage you to attend events and conferences to build on your market knowledge and expertise.
Person Specification: –
Up to 6 months experience in PR, preferably with an agency background.
Graduates with little/no experience will be considered if you can convince you’ve got something special!
Evidence of time management skills and being able to juggle multiple tasks and busy workloads
Team working and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to demonstrate confidence and ambition
Interest in the technology sector
A willingness to learn and get involved in wider company initiatives
Key Responsibilities: –
Day to day contact with target media to generate coverage opportunities and positive ongoing relationships with key journalists
Collating coverage and selling results back to clients in a timely manner
Direct contact and visibility with clients, with responsibility for specific campaigns and activity plans
Writing a variety of copy, from press releases and case studies, to blog posts and market reports
Active involvement in social networks on behalf of clients and the agency
Research support for new business pitching – media audits, vox pops, internet research
