HR Coordinator with payroll  

Based in Heathrow. Salary: £25,000 – £27,000 per annum 

Full time permanent position 

Part time hours will be considered – across 5 working days per week

We are currently recruiting for an HR Administrator for one of clients based in the Heathrow area. The focus of the role is to provide HR administrative support to the UK business; working closely with line managers to deliver a HR service in line with the needs and priorities of the company. Providing support in the implementation and delivery of key HR initiatives working closely with the Global HR Manager and Global HR Internal Recruiter.

Person Specification:

  •  Previous HR admin experience and ideally CIPD qualified (Level 3+)
  • Strong payroll experience
  • Strong working knowledge of HRIS systems, ideally CIPHR
  • Advanced MS Office Word & Excel skills
  • Strong knowledge of GDPR compliance and, ideally, ISO 9000
  • Experience of implementing new initiatives and rolling out new ways of working
  • Experience processing and dealing with confidential and sensitive data
  • Experience supporting a business operating 24/7
  • Able to work without close supervision and self-motivated
  • Business acumen/commercial know-how

Key Responsibilities: –  

  • On a monthly basis consolidate, input and review employee data changes for payroll to meet payroll cut off dates.
  • Administration of new starters and leavers within the company ensuring all relevant documentation is issued, collated and filed.
  • Review and consolidation of timesheets.
  • Administer company benefit schemes on going and at renewal.
  • Support the global annual salary and bonus cycle by preparing confirmation letters.
  • Responsible for data input and maintenance of HR information system (CIPHR)
  • Act as the first point of contact within the HR team for any employee issues, including monitoring the HR Inbox, and responding to queries within a timely manner
  • Act as the interface between line managers and employees managing employee relations queries and resolving issues neccessary
  • Prepare documentation for promotions, probationary periods, transfers and other contractual changes; co-ordination and administration of maternity/paternity process.
  • Working to drive the induction process to ensure onboarding is effective and engaging for new employees
  • Support line managers to manage the talent profile of the employees at all levels, identifying the training and development needs of employees
  • Keep under review current HR policies and procedures in line with legislation and best practice. Recommend policy changes when appropriate
  • General administration to support HR systems/processes
  • Working to ensure compliance with GDPR and ISO 9000
  • Administration of new starters and leavers within the company ensuring all relevant documentation is collated and filed
  • Any additional adhoc projects or activities requested by the Board, Global HR Manager, Global HR Internal Recruiter
