Google/Digital Analytics Specialist

Based in Surrey. Salary: £30,000 per annum.

We are currently recruiting for a Google/ Digital Analytics Specialist to working for a leading brand in the Surrey area. In this role you will be responsible for advanced implementations of Google Analytics, auditing and troubleshooting existing configurations across web and email, and providing reporting, dashboards and education to improve digital marketing initiatives in our commercial channels (eCom, Marketplace and stores).

 Person Specification:

  • Knowledge in a digital analysis position gained ideally in international Retail/eCommerce business
  • Articulate with excellent grammar and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactive, organised, efficient and productive
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, multi-task and project manage
  • Excellent Microsoft office skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and power BI
  • Analytical and commercially minded with aspirations to contribute to the growth of new markets business
  • Working knowledge of working with online data, analysis, reporting and tag management (Google Analytics is essential, Qlik Sense beneficial)
  • Experience with visualisation and database interrogation tools and knowledge of SQL, Google Tag Manager
  • Productive, conscientious and efficient, good listener and supportive of others in the business
  • Good communicator with a consultative approach and entrepreneurial attitude

Key Responsibilities: –  

  • Assist the business navigation and channel management teams in designing a strategic roadmap for digital analytics to help achieve the New Markets Multichannel sales objectives
  • Lead the delivery of the digital analytics roadmap, adopting an agile/phased approach to delivery Working with channel managers to understand and explain deviations from the forecast
  • Working with the central business navigation and business intelligence teams to ensure accuracy of reporting to senior management and optimising and help automating the reporting suite
  • Develop a deep understanding of the current analytics platforms for web and email, acting as a super user E.g Eloqua, Veeva, Google Analytics, Qlik Sense, Hotjar and Similarweb
  • Produce analytics audit reports for corrective or advanced GA tracking and data collection architectures
  • Provide instruction on campaign tagging and additional on-site tracking and work with web agencies to assist with tag governance
  • Liaise with channel management team regarding requirements for tactical commercial reporting & provide guidance to produce marketing dashboards via Google Analytics
  • Integrate any new social and digital channels into the reporting infrastructure
  • Identify reporting requirements; assessing the impact of website changes on existing metrics and reports; collaborating with web agencies and internal IT teams to understand the data sources available and to implement the reporting requirements, ensuring the accuracy and validity of data
