Events Account Manager
Salary £30,000 – £40,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the client’s principal point of contact
  • Responsible for ensuring the project/event team are briefed effectively and efficiently
  • Responsible for the profitability of each project within your account
  • Write and send a statement of work to the client
  • Provide the client with a consultancy service, offering expert knowledge of how the client’s objectives can be realised through the event and brand experience.
  • Responsible for working on new account opportunity pitches, as well as on-boarding new accounts in conjunction with the other team members
  • Pitch and deliver events and brand experiences for the client
  • Provide the relevant teams with PR ideas, editorial content, assist with awards entries and act as company lead for any trade associations relevant to your business unit.
  • Monitor process, progress, and results to ensure successful delivery of project
  • Compile budgets and track to project end, including client reporting and reconciliation process in line with agency standards; through regular tracking of all departments pre-agreed budgets/head hours and costs by project
  • Deliver all necessary client reporting programmes, including monthly & quarterly updates and support on programme results and financials
  • Provide timely and accurate notes and agreed next steps after every client meeting/call
  • Research and write proactive proposal or competitor review on a quarterly basis that is relevant and has an implication for the client’s business challenges
  • Responsible for ensuring that Non Disclosure Agreements (NDA), Project or Programme contracts are drafted and authorised, Service Level Agreements (SLA) are drafted, Statement of Work (SOW) documents are drafted, approved and signed by clients before project execution
  • The accurate and timely creation of initial budget estimate for client approval

  • Managerial skills
  • Excellent client relationship management skills
  • Budget management experience
  • Knowledge of the role of events and brand experiences in a broader business context to aid the development of relationships with clients from supplier to business partner
