Events Account Director
Salary £60,000 – £70,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities
Generate solutions to clients’ most pressing business and brand objectives through effective management of resources and solutions
Responsible for the nurturing, retention, and growth of specifically allocated client accounts.
Provide the client with a consultancy service, offering expert knowledge of how the client’s objectives can be realised through the event and brand experience. This might require challenging the client’s brief, proactive solutions, competitor analysis and global industry knowledge
Harnessing of project teams to pitch and deliver experiences for the client to the highest standard
Responsible for managing and motivating any direct reports
Coach and oversee project team members for individual projects to ensure that work meets quality standards
Contribute to the development, writing and presentation of incremental project proposals, scopes of work and staffing plans
Develop account plans to document opportunities within client relationships and define strategies and tactics to put them into practice
Actively pursue and generate new revenue opportunities
Develop strategic plans and objectives and be a subject matter expert on the client’s brand, business, and industry
Demonstrate account accountability by delivering measurable results and solutions
Maintain and grow client and agency relationship;
Define a vision for the account, including linkage with the functional leaders to ensure resources align with this vision
Lead pitch teams to compile effective and appropriate responses to client opportunities
Provide editorial content, assist with awards entries and act as company lead for any trade associations relevant to your business unit.
Person Specification
Proficiency in Google Workspace software
Proven, results driven expertise over an extended period of time of progressively increasing client management responsibility
Experience with significantly complex projects and events (including examples such as but not limited to: multiple workstream / dimensions, more complex internal team / client team)
Experience and confidence engaging and building respected, trusted peer-to-peer relationships with senior level client-side marketing executives
A thorough understanding of experience development processes
A clear understanding of multi-channel marketing (including digitally integrated event and experiential marketing) concepts, terminology, strategies, brand management best practices, and marketplace execution of concepts
