Events 3D Mid-Level Designer
Salary £35,000 – £45,000 per annum
Based in London

Key Responsibilities

• Designing everything from exhibition stands, stage sets and other 3D environments
• Bringing creative ideas and responses to all projects undertaken
• Becoming part of a team to work on projects from conception through to delivery
• Briefing other designers including 2D and 3D freelancers, in order to manage busy periods of workload.
• In these situations, you will be required to maintain the creative solution that you have developed in conjunction with the Creative Lead
• Liaising with suppliers such as set and exhibition constructors
• International travel to event locations may be a requirement of this role.

Person Specification

• Strong design skills to translate the client’s requirements into 3D solutions
• Strong skills in 3D package Vectorworks, is essential
• Great communication and team-working skills
• Good presentation skills for internal, client and pitch presentations
• Ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail
• An understanding of technical, health and safety requirements of event space planning
• Knowledge of Adobe CS and visualization / rendering packages such as 3ds Max, Cinema 4D and/or Twinmotion is an advantage
• Ideally a minimum of 3 years studio experience
• Extensive knowledge of creating floor-plans and designing large scale events is essential
• Experience working in a high paced and demanding studio
• Solid practical knowledge to develop all aspects of a project from floor planning to design detailing
