[17562] - e- Learning Developer 6mth Contract -Immediate Position

My client is looking for an e- learning developer for a six month contract with specific experience as detailed below:

The purpose of the job is to develop and build digital training content and Learning products, therefore enabling the business to continue to offer market leading and innovative digital output.

Key accountabilities 

• Uses technical and learning design knowledge to transform learning design documents into creative and innovated online courses, in order to bring a truly engaging learning experience to students.
•  Creates a variety of rich media content for use across a range of channels, mainly focusing on learning content for a new Brightspace LXP launching in the near future
• Advise on the best use of web technologies to inform the development of rich media and pedagogical content to ensure the right tool/platform is used for each product.
• Understands online user experience best practice and puts that knowledge into practice in order to deliver the best experience for all products.
•  Assists in the creation of branded templates for use in various rich media outputs including interactive presentations and digital/e-learning modules.  

• Contributes to the Digital and Learning Technologies strategy, enabling the business to offer leading edge online products and services.

Knowledge, qualifications and experience

The post holder will have experience of working with an Instructional Designer to build digital learning courses.

They must be able to design, develop and build creative and innovative digital/e-learning materials.

The following are essential 

• A portfolio of digital courses or learning solutions/experiences
• Experience using Evolve Authoring Tool/Adapt
• HTML, CSS experience
• Understanding and commitment to providing the best online user experience
• Ability to communicate technical concepts using the most appropriate method clearly and succinctly.
• Good understanding of online accessibility requirements and guidelines

The following are desirable 

• Administrative experience of Brightspace (or equivalent LXP systems)
• Experience using H5P
• Technical and process capabilities
• Adobe Creative Suite
• Screen recording and broadcast streaming
• Sound editing software, such as Audacity
• experience with e- learning platforms/ Familiarity with data protection/copyright issues.
