Business Support Manager, full time, permanent position.
Salary: £30K-40K per annum + excellent benefits package and free parking
Based in the Surbiton area
(Office based role – Monday-Friday)
We are currently recruiting for a Business Support Manager on behalf of our client, a fast-growing award-winning technology company based in the Surbiton area. Working alongside the CEO, you will be involved in a broad range of organisational duties, projects and events on behalf of the CEO.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Prince 2 or similar project management qualification desirable
Possess sound Knowledge and experience of Business Support and Project coordination Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
Excellent copywriting and English skills
Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced Knowledge of MS Office systems and other software packages
Project coordination, project management and budgeting skills
Great problem solving and active listening skills
Ability and willingness to work to tight deadlines
A good team player with a positive “cando” approach
Develop and maintain Knowledge of the business including business strategy, key projects, initiatives, clients and stakeholders.
Delivering successful projects and coordinating the actions and time-lines across the business identifying where processes can be improved.
Assisting in the creation of strategic business goals and feeding into the planning cycle across all areas of the business.
Support the CEO with multiple projects
Act as “Gatekeeper to the CEO
Be responsible for the effective functioning of the CEO’s office including diary
Ensuring relevant documentation, facilities and logistics are arranged for all meetings and events including proposals, budgets, actions, venues, schedule, travel bookings and coordination on the day.
Ensuring the continual delivery of employee and customer engagement programmes through events, hospitality, gifts and celebrations, researching and purchasing items.
Managing tasks and queries on behalf of Directors in a timely manner
Enhancing productivity of senior leaders through best use of technology and processes and systems to improve efficiency and quality of operations.
Providing flexible administration and secretarial support across the business as and when required including minute taking
