Business Development Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager on behalf of one of our clients, a well-established organisation based in the Surrey area. The purpose of the role is to sell bespoke fleet management solutions, products and services across a broad range of industries and sectors to meet monthly and annual sales targets

Person Specification 

  • Solutions sales experience (i.e. not product sales)
  • Relationship Management experience
  • Experience of leading successful bids
  • Experienced Business Development specialist with fleet management, vehicle funding background
  • Ability to learn and develop quickly if from outside of the industry
  • Knowledge of sales process
  • Vehicle leasing/fleet management/workshop knowledge
  • High level of Industry knowledge/awareness
  • Relationship development skills to establish rapport with prospects at all levels mainly via face to face and telephone channels
  • Ability to produce accurate work to tight deadlines under pressure
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and orally
  • Ability to lead and manage a tender bid process
  • High level of Customer Care and quality service
  • Time management and work prioritisation
  • Problem solving ability
