Based in Kingston upon Thames area. Salary: £DOE

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Administrator for one of our clients based in the Kingston area.

As the Accounts Payable Administrator you will have an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast paced and friendly environment. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Checking purchase orders, coding and entering supplier & freight Invoices
  • Monitoring the Accounts Payable UK inbox
  • Sorting post
  • Answering queries from suppliers via phone and email
  • Supplier statement reconciliation
  • Scanning, filing & archiving Invoices
  • Undertake any other ad hoc duties in order to support the Finance department
  • To be aware of and comply with Company Standards of Conduct and all relevant statutory requirements

Required skills/experience:

  • Good written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across functions and countries
  • Competence with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to create good working relationships both internally and externally.
  • The ability to work on own initiative
  • The ability to prioritise work and deal with the pressure of meeting monthly deadlines
  • Keen attention to detail
  • European language would be an advantage (e.g. Dutch or German)
  • VAT knowledge would be an advantage
  • Experience in the use of ERP software for (e. g IFS, Sage, Oracle)
