Accounts Assistant – Maternity Contract, Salary £24000- £27,000 p.a. pro rata
We have an opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join a friendly Finance team at their HQ in the Kingston upon Thames area. The successful candidate will support the Financial Controller Europe and regional Branch Accountants to ensure that the financial accounts of the company are accurate and fully reconciled and that reporting deadlines are met.
Assistance with month end reporting
Processing of journals in the ERP system
Review of UK employee expense claims for correctness against policy
Balance Sheet reconciliations
Intercompany Netting payments and receipts
Manual Sales Invoices for recharge of costs
Undertake any other ad hoc duties to support the Finance Department
To be aware of and comply with company standards of conduct and all relevant statutory requirements
The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar finance role previously.
Intermediate or Advanced Excel skills
AAT qualified/book keeper qualification or working towards this
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Good numeracy skills
Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst under pressure
