Our client, a local partnership company, requires a telemarketing executive to support their business development team to build relationships with potential customers over the phone. The ideal candidate will have a positive, proactive and flexible outlook, with high levels of energy and drive and a commitment to achieve and exceed performance indicators.

Key duties of this role include:-

  • Making contact with potential customers and qualify their criteria and needs
  • Building quality relationships with potential customers by engaging with them via the phone and email
  • Developing relationships and gaining appointments with potential customers
  • Developing leads that the business development team can follow up
  • Managing and maintaining the customer relationship management system
  • Supporting the business development function on a day to day basis to help the team reach targets
  • Contributing to team meetings
  • Working with the marketing team on specific campaigns designed to target set customer sectors in order to create more appointments
  • Working with the CRM system to ensure data is regularly turned over and kept updated to maximise business opportunities.
  • Maintaining and coordinating quality procedure updates
  • Dealing with any concerns or issues that may arise and implementing preventative improvements

 

To be considered for this role you must:-

 

  • Be educated to A Level standard or equivalent
  • Have experience in an office environment
  • Have experience within a B2B telesales environment
  • Have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Have excellent problem solving skills
  • Have good knowledge of CRM systems and sales environment/processes
  • Have the ability to build relationships over the telephone
  • Have an excellent telephone manner
  • Have a high level of customer care and quality service
  • Have good time management and work prioritisation skills
  • Have good administrative skills
