Sales Order Processor

Salary: £18,000 – £21,000 . Based in Twickenham

We have a new opportunity to work for a well-established distribution company based in Twickenham. Our client requires a talented and proactive individual with excellent communication skills to join a highly energised and motivational team as a Sales Order Processor.

Person Specification: –

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Highly numerate and analytical
  • Accuracy is essential
  • Previous experience in an administrative or customer related role is crucial
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Solid administrative ability to support a busy environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel

Key responsibilities: –

  • Processing orders received by phone, email or fax and checking orders processed by colleagues
  • Setting prices against customer records on the computer system
  • Producing invoices when pre-payment is required
  • Dealing with customer queries and complaints and liaising with colleagues to resolve issues promptly
  • Entering daily delivery schedules onto carrier’s website
  • Liaising with carrier to resolve delivery difficulties and disputes
  • Liaising with warehouse to check stock levels and resolve issues with orders
  • Liaising with retail showrooms to locate out of stock items and arrange internal transfers when necessary
  • General administrative tasks including filing, archiving and maintenance of office systems
