Prestigious head office retailer near Kingston upon Thames area is looking to recruit a Media Manager to work alongside a small dedicated team. The position is high profile position within a leading retail organisation.  The position is offered as a temporary contract initially with a genuine chance of transferring to a permanent position for the right candidate.

Develop the brand successfully in the UK, build awareness of our proposition and position the brand as a credible retailer that helps solve the everyday practical problems of consumer’s lives. Deliver against corporate marketing KPI’s and OGSA

Responsibilities

  • Planning and implementation of media strategy in order to grow brand awareness, market share and traffic
  • Manage creative production process for all content and assets
  • Ensure consistent and relevant brand content across all comms channel
  • Responsible for annual marketing budget and delivery within year-end frames
  • Manage all aspects of media, marketing communications and brand development in the UK
  • Agency management and development of network support (in-house creative/media/PR/research/production)
  • Social Media content management with social team
  • Work closely with eCom Manager and Marketing Exec to deliver against team KPIs and objectives
  • Co-ordination of Marketing & Commercial Calendar
  • Proof reading, copywriting, image handling for all UK comms
  • Campaign implementation and evaluation
  • Coordinate all research studies, customer profiling and market insights
  • Brand tracking and evaluating success of marketing campaigns incl ROI
  • PR & events management including LSM
  • Competitor field tracking & analysis
  • Participation in structured Matrix forums and group corporate events (some travel)

Technical skills/desirable skills:

  • 3yrs + Media Marketing experience with ATL/BTL activities essential (ideally Retail/multi-site business)
  • Articulate with excellent grammar and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactive, organised, efficient and productive
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, multi-task and project manage
  • Leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent Microsoft office skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Commercially minded with aspirations to contribute to the growth of the UK business
