6-9 month Maternity cover

Our client, an independent marketing and design agency, requires an Office Administrator/PA with lots of initiative to support the advertising team with advert production and ensure the office runs smoothly. This role will be over a 6-9 month period, covering a maternity leave. The right candidate will be proactive, enthusiastic and prepared to get stuck in.

Key duties of this role include:

  • Answering the telephone and emails
  • Meeting and greeting visitors
  • Dealing with suppliers and invoices
  • General administrative tasks
  • Preparing weekly schedules with the advertising team and coordinating the timely release of adverts to various media outlets
  • Liaising with the in-house studio, clients and the press
  • Ensuring that ads are supplied in the correct format and on time

To be considered for this role you must have

  • Previous administrative experience in a busy environment
  • Be well educated to A Level standard
  • Good IT proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word) (Apple Mac software would be desirable)
  • Have excellent communication skills with an outstanding telephone manner
  • Be well organised and be able to get stuck in
  • Be presentable and confident
  • Must live within a commutable distance to the location
