The Person

The right person for us will have the unusual combination of being energetic, can-do and high spirited, whilst also having and eye for detail and a focus on operational excellence.

We are a small team working in a start-up environment. We have a non-hierarchical, team orientated environment; we don’t have room for sharp elbows. We do, however, expect people to work hard and “muck in” to get things moving. 

The Role

We are looking for someone to support the Consulting Team. We have four full time Consultants and a pool of Associates who we work with on a project by project basis. Whilst there may be some engagement with our Associates, this role will predominantly engage with our core team of 4.


The areas of focus for the Office Administrator include:


  • Ensuring the smooth running of the office:
    • Managing the interface with our suppliers – IT, Staff Hardware, Copywriters, Office Management, Office Supplies
    • Acting as the first point of escalation for IT issues – We have an IT partner who would support you with this.
    • HR Support – Leading the organisation of performance review meetings, Team Building Days / Team Meals, organising travel, processing expenses
    • Finance Support – Assist our Head of Finance with invoicing, VAT returns, expenses
    • Front of House – Answering the phones and directing as appropriate.
  • Team Management & Project Support:
    • Diary management for 2 – 4 members of the team.
    • Inbox management for 2 Directors, ensure critical emails are responded to
    • Providing ad-hoc support to the team to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects. Opportunity to get more involved in Project Management going forward.
    • Compiling and editing various documentation for client pitches, proposals and presentations.
  • Marketing & Events:
    • Managing the interface with our copywriters; Ensuring that our website & social media channels are up to date, sharing our updated marketing contact list on a quarterly basis.
    • Events – Manage the running of topic breakfasts end to end. Opportunity to take over the management of some of our larger annual events going forward.
