Commercial Brand Account Manager

Salary: £28,000 – £33,000 Based in Surrey

A creative and dynamic head office based in Surrey are looking for an Commercial Account manager to work for a high-end retail brand. You will be responsible for driving sales and ensuring consumer sales are maximised. This a on the road position, therefore must obtain a full UK driving license.

Person Specification: –

  • Previous experience managing a team
  • Solid experience in management of key accounts at head office level, commercial accounts
  • Previous people management experience – managing a small team of supportive staff
  • Previous experience delivering pitches and presentations
  • Project management experience – growing accounts and projects from birth to grave
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Experience with analysing reports and driving sales based on results
  • Excellent MS office skills, in particular Powerpoint and Excel.
  • Experience developing products to create bespoke items for customers
  • Accuracy is essential and candidate must have analytical approach to tasks
  • Full driving license holder

Key responsibilities: –

  • Development and management of customer accounts focused to deliver budgeted growth objectives.
  • Developing retail accounts
  • Managing a small team of coordinators
  • Maximise sales and profit opportunities in existing and new customers.
  • Target and win new business on desirable terms.
  • Gain the confidence of key accounts, building strong commercial relationship enabling yourself and wider team to provide customer driven direction on product development.
  • Coordinate and manage the process preparing for key customer meetings, engaging with the design team managing the selection of relevant products from supplier library.
  • Focus on Sales-Out developing product ranges, stand fixtures or providing guidance to optimize sales and create a corrective action plan where necessary
  • Drive the after sales service provided to the customer coordinating and agreeing action plans with wider teams.
  • Negotiate prices with customers.
  • Weekly update of customer sales forecast.
  • Involvement in annual/quarterly reporting and budgeting process.
  • Accurately cost complete products, ensuring margin targets are achieved and exceeded.
